Limited Flag: NoMP3
On December 3, 2003, Toby Lightman's management gave permission to Chris for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
Chris asked:
I want to ask you for Toby's taping policy. A friend of mine who taped one of Toby's performances on the Howie tour contacted me to ask if there is some sort of statement on this. We'd like to have Toby added to etree.archive.org so that her live performances can be traded among fans. I also have a few mp3s posted on tobylightman.net, as you probably saw, I would like to know if that is permissable.
Ari Martin replied:
hey. we really haven't formulated a taping policy yet but i just took a look at howie's [howie day's] and that sounds good to me. thanks again.
Howie Day's Policy, for reference:
We allow and encourage audio taping for personal and non-commercial use and trading ONLY. Please do not buy, sell or encode MP3's from live shows. No profit is ever to be made from live shows. Please adhere to our rules, so that we may keep this option open to everyone.
Thanks.
